4am fire drill

Its 4am on a Sunday morning, and the humidity sets off the fire alarm in the dorm...so we are forced to evacuate and stand outside for 30 minutes listening to the obnoxious fire alarm

if you don't mind my asking, what alarm system is installed?

@weatherdan882002 I'm not 100% sure but they're very old (the building was built in 1964, not sure if alarm was installed at same time). I believe the panel is a Simplex 4100 and the alarms are 2902-9711 speakers with 2903 strobe plates. I usually enjoy the alarm going off but I was too trilled to be woken up at 4am!

Does that system just do the whoop constantly or does it talk as well?

And in the cold i say! The Month is December when this was made,so i bet u were freezing
