Variablast has left me a response...and it's clear he didn't truly listen to a word I'd said. This video finishes him off, and now I wash my hands of him.

...and it'd been FAR too long since I'd done any straight-up pwnage. ;)

@variablast A Poe is merely any person attempting to make fun of extremists, the phenomena refers to the fact that it's impossible to tell apart jokers and extremists. What you are trying to do is so absurd and ridiculous, that it sounds like a parody. Your constant use of the word nigger, rather than just your attempt to remove the racism from it, is just plain silly, and sounds like your trying to be absurd on purpose.

@BionicDance He probably is, judging by his behavior when I met him. It's funny how he keeps fighting for the word itself to become more acceptable, then went and changed his name to it, but when speaking to me, refused to utter it in more than a mumble.

As I tried to explain to him what the Occupy Movement was about (not that kind of thing), he just kept going on and on about how he wonders if our crowd would accept that kind of thing.

@HimesInu He has an argument about why he didn't do this. Ignorant is regionally defined or something like that...I don't remember really and I don't go to his page anymore since he made it a community channel.

If he wanted to make the n word sound less bigoted, he should have gone with the original definition which said "an ignorant person." I hate the word myself, and I never use it. I say other words that people consider curses before I use it.

Great video! I used to subscribe to Variablast cause he's pretty entertaining... until it became obvious that he was hopelessly obsessed with a lost cause. It's a shame to see so much energy going into something so pointless. PS.. are you really in space :-P

Bionicdance: Regardigng use of minority slurs by members of that minority, don't black people call each other the n-word. I mean, in Pulp Fiction, Samuel Jackson throws it around quite affectionately. Okay, so maybe the twisted mind of Quentin Tarrantino isn't the best window into black culture, but I'm sure there's some element of truth to that.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure reclaiming such words is the decision of the affected minority, not that of mr straight white male.
