Excellent stripper version of Hurricane J, Craig & Tad! The very first time I heard the single on the radio I said to Jenna "who the hell is this ripping off the Hold Steady?" I was glad that it was you guys and not some wanna-be's clipping your style like so many of these 'template' knock off bands surfacing these days. Viva la Hold Steady! Viva la Minneapolis! SF

Gotta love this band. Great Music, deep lyrics, and they don't try to be some flamboyant jerk-off band. It's easy to relate to all of their songs. truly nice....

To me Franz leaving Hold Steady is like Clarence Clemmons leaving the E Street Band or Peter Wolf leaving J. Geils Band. Do side work but never, ever leave the band.

Okay--I'm gonna say this: Franz will professionally regret leaving this band (duck!). the sum of them is the most powerful IMO--but keep listening as the album grows legs.
