Video from 10/27 off of Santa Cruz, CA. I was trying to figure out where the whales would lunge feed at, and had it pretty well figured out (which is why I had the camera running right then, though my aim was off a bit). Seems this other kayaker wasn't quite as accurate at figuring out what they were doing, so paddled right over the bait ball the whale wanted to eat. That kayaker was much more conservative about where he went after this...

Taken with Pentax Optio WG-1. The flashing bars on the screen are because I was taking this into the sun.
