Hedgehog Launch 2, 1 Million Feet, 664 Billion Dollars

Ok, look, I'm not doing anything special here. There are no cheats or anything. I didn't use gravity kill. (although I don't know if it does anything anyway) This means that YOU CAN DO THIS TOO! It's not anything amazing. It's really simple; Get the hedgehog as high as you want, then put him into a glide. 1,000 feet, 100,000 feet, a million feet, it doesn't matter. Just keep bouncing him up till you don't want to anymore. Put him into a glide and see what you get.
All you do is worry about getting the hedgehog as high as you can. Don't worry about collecting coins etc. If you can get to 250,000 feet then you can get to a million. Once you get to the height you want, blast toward the side exactly like I did in the video. This is a glide. If you are moving sideways you hit more stuff. It's the same principle as if you drive through rain vs sitting and letting it hit your car at a stop. Obviously if you are moving, you will hit many more raindrops.

I screwed with the video for a long time trying to get it to run normal speed. I don't know why it runs as slow as it does. Windows movie maker sucks too.

Here is a log of what I did:

-Time: 12 min, I was at 150,000 feet.
I downloaded the capture software and figured out how to use it.
I went back to the game and by 38 min I was at 234,000 feet, so I put the hedgehog into a glide and went and ate breakfast.
-Time 52 min: After a delicious breakfast of reheated ribs, fried rice, lemonade and an apple, I came back, turned on some technobase and continued my ascent. Height was 232,000 feet, although the hedge hog had hit 244,000 feet while I was breakfasting.
-Time 1:28 decided to shop online for things I can't afford. Put hedgehog into a glide at 502,000 feet
-Time 2:56 came back and hedgehog was at 499,000 feet but had reached a max height of 520,000 feet
-Time 3:40 put back into glide 800,000 feet
-Time 4:06 came back, hedgehog was at 769,000 feet
-Time 4:39 Broke 1,000,000 feet, put hedgehog into a glide
-Time 8:29 I decided to shoot for 1 trillion, took hedgehog out of glide and continued ascent from 600,000feet
-Time 8:38 It's too late, and I'm going to bed. I need the sleep, I got the hedgehog back up to 670,000 feet, It sucks that I am giving up when I know I am so close to a trillion, but whatever. I could easily have done it if I wanted to. Sleep is more important.

Woke up the next morning to see what I had gotten and the numbers were

Highest Elevation 1,011,598 feet (x1011.59)
Run Time 17:18:01.25 (x6228.1)

Running the numbers, on a calculator I get
(105,362.7) * (1,011.59) * (6,228.1) = 663,814,899,185.37
Rounded is 664 billion. My numbers are a little off from what the game calculated, but they were close. I'm not exactly sure how the game does it's calculations.

It sucks that I was so close to 1 trillion. If I had played the game for 2 more hours I would have easily broke that mark, but all in all I'm happy. I'll leave that goal for someone else to break anyway !

I would estimate that in order to break the trillion mark, you would need to put the hedgehog into a glide at 1.5 million just to be on the safe side.

You can look at my times and calculate out how long I spent getting the hedgehog to max height and how long I glided for.

No, dat isn't. Da score gets cut off at da end of da game. You have to manually multiply da numbers out. If you watched da whole video you would see I did dat at da end.
