  • USB is rated at 5V 1A (i.e. 5W). I'm sure if you hook up something that wants to pull significantly more current than this, you're going to break your eeePC.

  • @KX36 I'm sure that the onboard USB controller will tell me, "Device has exceeded the maximum current" and nothing will happen.
