The color vision test plates are from two commercially available color vision test books - "Color Vision Testing Made Easy" and the Pseudoisochromatic 24 Plate Color Vision Test by Dr. Terrace L. Waggoner.

There are seven pediatric color vision test plates and six adult color vision test plates. The video is for screening purposes only - not for a diagnosis. For a diagnosis, see my validated online color vision test, http://www.TestingColorVision.com , or a vision care professional.

  • This is very helpful -- thank you -- but the slide at 6:16 credits "James Calway". It should be James Galway.

  • @the8ctagon Thank you. You are correct. at slide 6:16 credits it should be James Galway and not James Calway. Unfortunately, I can not change the typo at this time. Thanks again for your post.

  • 1:56 isnt obviouse

  • @HeadLinesProductions I will look at it. Thanks.

  • Even color deficient people should see something on a "couple" of the test plates.

  • thumbs up if your not colorblind but just did the test anyway

  • @Nesbittle so true. we take a color test at work to find PPL who can varify part colors. I have heard some people say "it's easy, you just go in and you'll pass" um... way to make someone feel stupid if they can't pass the "easy" test

  • im color blind lol

  • It's funny how some people say this test is "easy". It's not meant to be a difficult test, it's meant for people to figure out of they're colourblind or not.

Thank you for making this video, I found it very helpful! :)

  • Yeah, we did something like this in my health class, i was the one of the only kids not to like anything at all. And doing this video, i could only see one of the shapes and no numbers at all. Well it looks like I'm color deficient.

  • I didn't see a thing.

  • 1:46 "you have 5 seconds to identify one or more objects" they give u 8 seconds

  • so easy but wher ethe pop up

  • @mccf1524 The person who mad ethe video is probably American. Americans spell colour "color"
