Just got back to your site. Great stuff. I went to Shotley marina for the first time this summer, and I rate it as one of the best on the East Coast. Normally like you I prefer to anchor or pick up a buoy, but the occasional marina visit si essential. ;-) How did you get on in the lock single-handed?

By the way, on the wind turbines, they pay back the energy used to make them in about 20 months.

Maybe I could flog some of my music. That track works quite well as a montage epic. haha.
Good on you though. Go for it! You're going to suffer sometimes. It ain't easy on your own, but bloody hell will the good times make up for it all.
