Madrid 2016: Tengo una corazonada (I feel it in my bones)

Presentación de la candidatura de Madrid para los JJOO de 2016.

Yo he visto cómo se lavaba la ropa en este río.
Aquí pastaban los animales.
He visto esta plaza llena de tranvías.
Y cómo vendían los pavos aquí, en la calle.
Luego vi trenes abarrotados de gente con su casa a cuestas.
He visto a Ava Gardner.
Aquí he visto celebrar muchos campeonatos.
He visto los más grandes: Edi Mercks, Indurain.
Les he visto llegar y darle vista a esto.
He visto cómo ha cambiado todo.
He visto hasta estas calles tranquilas...
Lo que no he visto nunca en Madrid ha sido unos Juegos Olímpicos.
Y quiero vivir unos añitos más, porque ... tengo una corazonada.

I've seen people washing their clothes in this river.
Cattle used to came here to graze.
I've seen this square jammed with trams.
You could buy a living turkey right here in the street.
I've later seen packed trains with people carrying all their belongings with them
I've seen Ava Gardner.
I've seen fans cheering over their team victory many times here.
I've seen the best ones: Eddy Merckx, Indurain...
I've seen new people come to these quarters and bring them to life.
I've seen how everything changed.
I've ever seen some quiet moments in these streets !
But there is still one thing I have not seen in Madrid: the Olympic Games.
but I will see them, in a few more years ... I feel it in my bones.
