Camtaisa 6 tip - HD settings for Youtube (read description)

In this episode. I show you how to get HD settings for Youtube using Camtaisa studio 6.

You will need quick time, other wise this won't work.

If you follow the video correctly you should have the "watch in HD" link appear under your videos. You can also import external video files like WMV into camtasia and then produce it with the HD settings.

Problems HD settings may present.
1.Slow rendering speeds.
2.Slow youtube upload.
3.HD video loading times can be slow on a slow connection.

For the third problem there is a program called SpeedBit video accelerator, it will make youtube videos load quickly regardless of your connection speed.

It's free to use for as long as you want, although it says you can pay for it, just use the free version, as it is unlimited.

Sweet video, but do you know why for some of my videos when I try to render and when it's in the encoding stage, it takes SO long. Have any ideas why?

.MOV files do take a while to encode, but it's good because they have quite high quality and a small file size.

the HD link appeared but why the hell only 1:30 of my original vid is on youtuber?

When you make a movie always check it before upload. Something might have gone wrong during rendering

When i try to render i set it to 1240 to 770 (or something like that i forgot)

and wmv it always worked but now it says 0 percent (1 sec later ) 100 percent it closes but....THERES nothing and it drives me fucking crazy

Also, I have noticed that when I try to render, it keeps freezing and I have to render the WHOLE 8 minutes of a video (example) again.

Is there anyway to make the video stretch to fit the widescreen? This works for me but the vid doesn't fit in the whole widescreen, yours doesn't quite either. I know how to do it in Vegas but I just got camtasia and my guess is you probably can't?
