  • It isn't all about RAM. You need to have a good GPU too...

  • yeah.... that's what i thought. the sad part is that... it's a laptop... so i can't do nothing about it.

  • Well 3gig ram is fine, maybe you need to set it to high priority. but its very normal we are all just hoping sims 3 works better, try closing other programs in the background you aren't using. And you should definitely check out my vids ^^!

  • Hey thanks for the help. I think it has to do with my graphics. :)

  • ive got a laptop too and when i go on my sims 2 game.. its soooo slow! Idk what to do about it :L

  • use normal graphics i raised my graphics to and i couldnt really play

  • oh and i think your house is moving quite quick for the big house u made

  • Oh yeah, and the reason is because the bigger the house, the more it takes up space, and with all that space tooken up,it causes the screen to move SLOWER and SLOWER and SLOWER by the nanosecond..

  • To make it speed up and not go so slow like that, just speed it up double on windows movie maker effects.

  • the problem is the bigger the house and lot the more it lags because of how big the house size it is so if you make a 20 million roomed mansion it would probably take minutes to go up one floor because if its at night it'll take longer for the lighting to load as well. And it takes time to change from day to night as well.
