During his trip to gather data for several calculations, the Mentat Yanich Cobal discovers a Tlielaxu "worm hunting" party. They have been seen across the planet, fleeing from the remains of sandworms killed in storms and battle. One might assume they are merely collecting sandworm genes for their macabre experiments, since the war has laxed the Imperial restrictions of access to Arrakis. Yanich's twisted logistical mind sees something else behind it all.
