This video shows surveillance footage of the Apocalypse Tank's(Soviets) primary and secondary combat functions.

Battlefield reconnaissance has revealed at least these facts about the Apocalypse Tank:

• Unstoppable -- The apocalypse tank can simply roll over anything that survives its main guns. Main battle tanks, let alone smaller vehicles, can easily be crushed under the apocalypse tank's treads.

• The sinister M-harpoon -- The apocalypse can effectively spear and reel in other vehicles using the M-harpoon, or even drag itself toward structures. However, the magnet requires an extreme amount of energy, so the tank's main guns are rendered inoperable while the M-harpoon is active.

• Pure anti-armor -- While the apocalypse tank has nothing to fear from lesser vehicles, its crew's limited visibility combined with its armor-piercing ammunition means it is less effective against very small targets, namely infantry. Commanders also admit that the apocalypse requires anti-air support.

• Worth its weight in ore -- The apocalypse tank and its two main guns and 16-layer armor don't come cheap. On top of that, the schematics for manufacturing these vehicles in the field are authorized only by battle lab technicians required to study the tank's performance characteristics.

  • What's the difference between the 2 Apocalypse Tanks from RA2 and RA3 ?

  • @Superfrycook

    ra2-get anti-air missles

ra3-no anti air missles, ability to pull vehicles towards it and grind it to pieces

  • is this for PS3?

  • @dustin4441

its on PC, PS3 and XBOX360

  • In Uprising, the Magnetic Harpoons keep the target from shooting back, but does that apply in multiplayer?

  • I thought the enemy units can still fire back even being attacked by the magnetic harpoon. If it's changed in uprising, singleplayer and multiplayer should be the same.

  • The tank secondary combat : " Ooo.. come here baby, mother Russia just wanna give you a kiss.."

  • @CommanderKaiser

    After some experimental fights

I discovered, that Apoc. alone can destroy:

    2 Mirage Tanks

    5 Guardian Tanks

    7 Tsunami Tanks

When using Harpoon he mows King Onis like a grass.

    That's what's up!)

  • Tesla Tank and Grinder combos are better. They can 1 hit infantry. They have a lot of advantages. Unlike Apocalypse Tanks. I'm not belittling. Just comparing the difference.

  • @Superfrycook and ra2 apoc had only 800 hp, ra3 version has 3000 hp and bigger cannons

  • The RA3 Apocalypse Tank is pure Anti-Tank. If it obtain the rank of an elite, (or something like that) then it becomes like a anti-surface unit.

  • If only they would combine the Apoc from RA2 and RA3. Now that's the Apoc i wanna see in RA4. If there's ever gonna be one.

  • Unfortunately, Apocalypse Tank's Magnetic Harpoon is not without drawbacks...

1.Must get close to use harpoon on enemy vehicles.

2.Small units like Guardian and Hammer Tanks continue to fire leaving it exposed (if situation is critical).

3.I think Grinder can shut it up.

4.Must move forward when hitting structures and heavy units unlike Magmetrons which only have to tear apart" the structures or lift vehicles.

5.RA2 Apocalypse Tank was weaker than RA3. No doubt.

  • @BlackEagle351

Magnetic harpoon is a useful tool! I think if RA2 & RA 3 Apocs go toe-to-toe, I think RA3 Apoc would easily grind it's RA2 counterpart to scrap.

  • The instrument of doom...

  • @BlackEagle351

Okay... but not any Soviet tank served as real prototype for Mammoth. It was probably German Р1000 Ratte.

  • @AndrewtheDuke

Then how can u explain the GWWIII era's Mammoth Tank? The Soviet Union created it, as well as the M.A.D (Mutually Assured Destruction) Tank

  • @BlackEagle351

I meant Soviet Union NEVER developed super-heavy tanks! WW2 was won on medium tanks like T-34 and heavy Kliment Voroshilov (KV) tanks.
