Joe: You have 3 minutes.
Stacey: McKell is in love with Chad too.
Joe: What the hell are you talking about?
Stacey: You are her boyfriend, and if she really loved you knowing that you hated him, she would have stayed away.
Joe: No, they are just friends, and I cant tell her who she can and cannot hang out with.
Stacey: But Joe, just think about it, you two are sworn enemies, and yet shes hanging out with him, now, you wont even be friends with me because of the history McKell and I have. The only way you would ever hang out with me is if-
Joe: If I liked you?
Stacey: and just think about it. Maybe she loves you, but she loves Chad too. And you say you cant live without her, and that you need her in your life, and that you love her. What would you do if you guys broke up and never talked again?
Joe: Id probably go crazy, you almost done? You dont have much time left.
Stacey: wouldnt you rather have her in your life as your best friend than to not have her at all? What happens when you guys break up? If you do, what if its not clean and you guys never talk again? Isnt it good to just break up now and keep her as a friend than to lose her to Chad in the long run?
Chad: McKell loves me?
Joe: No She- She doesnt. Does she?
Nick: Ok, instead of sitting here discussing this why dont we try to find McKell?
McKell POV
I ran home and into my backyard up into the tree house my dad and brother built. This is where I go when I dont want people to find me. They think its Troys spot. Well it is, but thats why I use it, because no one comes to look for me in it. I couldnt help but let the tears fall. Chad kissed me. HE KISSED ME! In front of my boyfriend. I love Joe and nothing is ever going to change that, but he probably hates me. He warned me about Chad. But I honestly thought there was something more to him than the jerky TV star. Boy was I wrong.
How could I have been so stupid? Once a jerk, always a jerk. And Stacey. Dont even get me started on her. I could have just tackled her then and there. She pisses me off to no other.

I looked up. Damnit, someone figured me out.
Nick POV
As all of the others were arguing I couldnt help but roll my eyes. Why cant we just settle this once we find McKell. She plays a major part in this. And then Stacey was basically telling Joe to break up with McKell so they could be friends because she was in love with Chad to. Please. She is not.
Nick: Ok instead of sitting here and discussing this why dont we try and find McKell?
Joe: Does she love Chad?
Nick: Dont tell me youre listening to Stacey. Come on. Your girlfriend is out there alone, in the dark, upset. We need to go and find her.
Joe: Yeah, yeah youre right. Ill take my car and go with Kevin, You take Kevins car.
Kevin: excuse me?
Joe: Please?
Kevin: You wreck it and your dead.
He handed me his keys and I headed to the car. I knew exactly where she would be, but no one would listen, maybe I could go comfort her for a minute before the others find her. I drove to her house and went in the backyard. I knew that every time she was upset she would come up here because no one else would suspect she was up there. I went up the tree house.
Nick: McKell?
McKell: Damnit Nick, Im going to have to find a new place.
Nick: Acutally I have known about this place for about 3 years now.
McKell: really?
Nick: yeah about three years ago you were upset, and I came to get something from the tree house that troy said he needed, and I saw you up there, I quietly grabbed what troy wanted and left you alone. So Ive known all along.
McKell: Oh.
Nick: are you ok?
McKell: Not really, I mean, Joe probably hates me.
Nick: Joe could never hate you.
McKell: Tonight could not have been any worse.
