@Wolcott yea i had this problem too, but for me i found that it was windows explorer in Win7 that makes everything look like a rainbow. try making this batch file to run the program to temporarily turn off windows explorer.
taskkill /f /IM explorer.exe
C:\"KKNDXtreme"\"KKND.exe" (your path might be different just put yours here)
start explorer.exe

I'm having the same problme and I'm still using Vista. I have the CD for the game and the autorun runs perfectly, but when I hit the install button, the wizard doesn't pop up and install the game, but I did not get any pop-up incompatibility messages. So I downloaded the game from some Brazilian dude's blogspot, the Kaos mode works just fine, but I can't play the Campaign modes or any of the X-treme missions :-/

man this track plus seeing your Autocannon Tank/Missle Barrage ball lighting stuff up just gets you amped!!!

I still own a copy of KKnD Xtreme, but it doesn't work anymore now that there's Windows 7, should've stayed with Vista. Tried taking screen caps of the game but like C&C: Red Alert, the images always appear messed up :(

@morqour inside the cd from both games there is a .wav containing the music
KKND EXTREME = MUTE.WAV / Evolved music - Survivors.wav / Survivors
4 Themes each race :) ('cept the 2nd game)
PS = this is the best track in the game :)

It will take you to the only place it's still officially sold. Safe and legal but you have to buy it with Krossfire and you need a blank CD-RW after the download.
