This is my 1959 Ford F100 Pickup with a 1962 406 FE engine and a 1961 390 401 HP Tripower setup on it. This is still a work in progress. Just put on a full 3 inch exhaust system with 3 inch in and out flowmaster series 40 mufflers with 4 and half diameter chrome exhaust tips. Thanks for looking!!

  • what cam?

  • @ndubb1 I have a Lunati cam in this engine. but this cam is not available anymore. I looked when I was redoing my 1957 fords 427FE over so I got a Comp cam for that engine.

  • @thunderbolt427 remember what the operating range was for it?

  • @ndubb1 you know I can't remember off the top of my head I thought it was around 540 Lift. I just don't know without asking my engine builder and he is out of town.

  • @ndubb1 Now I had a brain cell fire I think the lift was 585 and the duration was 310 or somthing close to that.

  • @thunderbolt427 Just so you know Bro., Crane Grinds Lunati Cams. I foumd this out when I ordered a Lunati "Voo-Doo" cam for my BBC. It said Crane Cam Co. on Box and Cam Card. I sent it Back and got a Crowee. Crane DOES Indeed Make a FINE Ford Cam. Hope this helps.

  • @thunderbolt427 oh no i meant like the rpm range it was meant for. Like 1500-6000 etc. I like the sound of the one you've got in this truck. but sounds are deceiving. Usually the more loopy the idle is, the higher up the range is. I'm looking for a future cam swap for my 390 is why i ask, but i need a cam for the lower-mid range for off roadin

  • nice truck dude,,,and glad to see you didnt junk it up with a small block chevy ...

    ,long live the F.E
