  • God The Tube was awful! Masses of pointless chat from empty heads like Paula Yates and Lesley Ash with middle of the road crap like King, Curiosity Killed the Cat & Level 42.

And then this appeared. I can still remember watching this as I sat down to my Friday evening tea and being blown away by the charge of it. Virtually none of the pap that was on that programme stands up, where as this remains essential, intelligent and effortlessly dynamic. 8 minutes of the greatest music television ever.

can you imagine a better debut appearance on national TV?

  • I have a love/hate relationship with the Fall. At times I think they're magnificent, and other times I think they're crap. They are either the worst brilliant group ever, or the best terrible band ever.

And I will never in a million years even begin to decode MES' byzantine lyrics. But it's all about the ride, ya know? All hail the might Fall!

  • Better than the Perverted version.

  • this is an awesome version. smile creeps!

  • Sublime. Best band ever.

  • the only terrible aspect of the fall in 1983: marks hair!

  • Saw them live around this time - awesome band to hear live.. & bit like this clip Brix used to hideon stage & then 'appear' for certain songs around this time.

  • @LiveAtReykjavik That'd be awesome man! Give me a personal message on here and we'll talk about it.

  • @BillSwansea Well I don't know, I was scratching and picking across internet til I've found everything there is for free (up to '89 cause the Fall are my all time favorite number one from early years to Frenz Experiment)

I have at least 60 gigs in my precious folder. I can send you some. (including video)
