We all love to hate, and American comic artists have given us some very special fictional villains as targets for that love/hatred relationship. High on the list of this comic army of bad guys is the Marvel Comics creature, Venom. Venom is an alien on the lookout for a human host, someone who can turn the dual life form into a super villain. As a villain, Venom has become Spider-Man's most popular and long-lasting enemy. That's only fair, since Venom's first bonding victim was Spider-Man, who ended up rejecting him. A big black slimy-looking creature with teeth from here to Calcutta, Venom has used a number of male and female hosts, and may even be in line for a movie of his/her own.
