I recorded the music I had in my mind for a long time... I think it comes from Ireland but I'm not sure!
Don't hesitate to give me the title if you know it!
It would be kind, thanks

Gear used for this recording:

- Takamine TFG136S guitar
- 2 Behringer B2 Pro
- Valve preamp Presonus Bluetube (2 channels)
- TC Electronic Nova Reverb
- Peterson strobe tuner stroboflip (really important!)
- Aiptek AHD H5 Extreme camcorder

  • Found you quite by happenstance and so happy I did :) Your playing is incredibly beautiful and it's clear to see how much you enjoy what you do, you are very talented and gifted....I wish i knew the title to the song, but I can't imagine the original being any more touching than what you've played :)

  • @hsoprano77 Thank you for your very... very kind comment, Greetings!

  • It sounds really familiar but I can't put my finger on the tune. I hear bits that sound like "Wild Mountain Thyme" and "Wild Rover" but it's clearly neither of those.

  • @MrMutron Hi, 2 mics just to get a stereo sound, yes they are about at the same distance like somebody who is listen to you at a distance about one meter from you. I really prefer my B2PRO than the Rode NT3 I have!

  • @franckph Why two mics? Are they both the same height and distance from the guitar? How do you like the B2?

  • @dzcamel Hello, thank you for your comment. The microphones (2 Behringer B2 pro) were about at 80 to 100 centimeters from my guitar soundhole. I think this is the best distance to record nylon guitars and get a sweet sound! If you take a shorter distance, the sound it too much present and boomy. It's my turn to ask a question... Do you know the title of that music?

  • you played it PERFECTLY SPLENDID sir ! so,where was the microphone standing for ? i mean, the position because i haven't seen the microphone on your video. :)

  • @guidokritz Thank you
