Testing out a new lens and learning the settings on the 60D . The 35 has no image stabilization, so everything is hand held until I get my monopod. When I can lock in the focus it looks pretty nice, and I couldnt really get this with the 18-135 kit lens. Using the 35mm f2 and the 50mm f1.8 seem like the cheapest way to achieve the effect all the good dslr videos have. I think I can dial in the color now that I know how iso settings, shutter speed and aperture are related.

  • Thank you!

  • @espenslind Your welcome. I have some better macro shots, and all around better shots, with this lens now that I know how to use the camera. If you want some more test footage, let me know. This is great lens...I haven't used anything else since I got it.

  • @WacoJohnnieDean Your video helped me decide. I bought one for my 550D. :) Haven't tried it much yet, but the picture quality seems to be really good, and the f/2 helped with the low light problem with my kit lens.
