History in the making.

@lenvm exactly. the rue should be that the batter hasto choose which side to hit from wen he gets in the box nd then he cnt switch. but the pitcher can

It's so ridiculous that they instated a rule against Venditte rather than against switch hitters. When switch pitchers become as common as switch hitters, THEN you pass a rule directed against the pitchers.

we need a new rule about not playing with your balls the whole game. Maybe it's was itchy...
-
@shagginflies I dunno man, i played ball for 11 years and then took up lacrosse...both necessitating my wearing of a jock. i definitely didn't fiddle so much. seriously, watch the video...it's ridiculous and hilarious.
-
@lilbuddhanic a jockstrap is a very uncomfortable thing to wear and needs constant adjustment. it digs into your thighs, so ballplayers will lift it so the sides don't touch the thighs anymore
-
why is it that baseball players can't keep their hands off their junk?

Lots of folks here think they know the rules, but I haven't seen it correctly stated yet. OBR 8.01f and 6.06b. Go look it up.

@irishfan84 I did that in LL back in the 1970's. Switched sides hitting during one at bat. I use to do that a lot back then. Don't know if you can still do that or not these days.
And one has to think now... will they keep track of pitches per arm? 40 pitches right-handed and 60 pitches left-handed?
