Untouchable: [Episode One]

Our story opens in the beautiful state of California. Los Angeles, to be exact. It's a beautiful summer day, the palm trees waving slightly in the brisk wind, the sun shining brightly in the sky, blazing down on the people walking through the sidewalks. Among this city is a little blue house, set right by the water. It's a little run down, some of the wood chipped and the stairs leading to it creaking, but the family living in it loved it. Inside of the house were two families, the Jonas family, and the Gomez family. Mrs. Gomez is laying down on her couch, holding her newborn baby girl to her chest, almost as if she's trying to protect her. Mrs. Jonas is holding her one year old boy, while her two other sons are looking at her, wondering what's going on. Our main point of interest is the conversation between Mr. Jonas and Mr. Gomez.
"Let me get this straight…....you want us to arrange a marriage between our daughter and your son?" Mr. Gomez questioned.
"That's exactly the plan. I know, it's a little bit old fashioned, but we've been friends for years, Anthony. It has always been our dream for our children to get married, and now you have a daughter, and I have three boys. It's the perfect setup." Mr. Jonas ended his last sentence with a smile. Mr. Gomez just shook his head.
"I'm not too sure about this, Paul…...what if something bad ends up happening? We want our children to be happy!"
"Anthony, if they're together then they will be happy. They also know each other from a young age, so they'll be okay with it when they're older." Anthony looked away and sighed before speaking.
"Alright. Which son did you have in mind?"
"I was thinking Joe. He's a little older then Selena, so he'll be able to teach her some things, and also get a job while she's still in college." Paul stated. Anthony nodded, liking the idea.
"What age will they be wed?"
"I'd say that he'll be 20 and she'll be 17. It's a tough age, but her birthday is before his in the year, meaning she'll be 18 before he's 21. We must keep things legal."
"Alright, Paul. You have yourself a deal." Anthony put out his hand and Paul shook it firmly.
"Well, we should get going. We'll see you all tomorrow." Paul picked up Joe from the ground, and his wife took Kevin's hand, still supporting Nick with one of her arms and her hip.
"It was nice to see you." Maria said with a smile. Denise nodded her head in agreement, and with that, the Jonas family left.
"What did Paul want?" Maria looked over at her husband. He had a very stressful look on his face, his hands grabbing at the ends of his hair. He didn't answer, in fear that his wife would be mad with the decision he just made. In the dead silence, a small coo was heard from baby Selena.
"Fine then…don't answer me." Anthony sighed deeply as he watched his wife take their daughter upstairs. He had no idea what he had gotten himself, and his daughter, into.

I like this! Its different because in all of the other arranged marriage ones they just throw it on them in the beginning but now we know the whole story!
