the mayan calender still predicts solar eclipses to this day and are only off by 33 seconds explain that. Also the Mayan Calender was dated back 10,000 bce and the Mayans were not around then...I don't know it's kinda crazy

not all stars become black holes, look at at the stars in our galaxy there in orbit around 1 black hole. Stars blow up (supernovas) and cause creation, 2012 has nothing to do with our sun it is the allignment of our plantes. As creatures in the universe we and everyliving thing are effected by the cosmos and the engery being pulled around. the allignment is going to cause an extremely long solar eclipse and humans will riot. And 1 theory is the mayans were predicting a war to end humanity

@Mick0722MX exept that our "sun" is actually a star, and all black holes have some time been a star, wich means that one time the sun will become a black hole! So there will be an end, but not in 2011 or 2012.
