theres a easier way you know. select the edge tool. press and hold shift. then left click and drag. the line will show up. then you can add another edge without pressing shift unless if its not from that line you started with.

Can someone explain or tell me of a tutorial that explains how to use the "add edge" tool? I am not really sure on how to get the faces to show as I link the points together. Pls help! Thank u :D!

can u put a tutorial with writing on how you did this pls, ive been try to model a picture but it always turns out rubbish

I was having the same problem when I learned. You have to click on the picture, then go Build > Convert to Mesh > Then move the picture back until grid lines show on top of the picture. After that you can use the lines and dots.
