Let's not be sad about Hanson not being as popular or mainstream as they deserve. I'm more than sure in a couple decades, or whenever they stop playing, the guys will be part of the history of pop music, just like so many great bands, and rather than most of the crap that gets overplayed nowadays. But we'd rather have them keep playing for a long time, right? So let's just enjoy their wonderful music, and ignore the deaf who do not recognize their talent.
