  • Not every pilot wears gloves. But in Japan this is sign of professionality, bus drivers, taxi drivers, train conductors also wear gloves. At least as I know (excuse me, my Engilsh is not so good)

  • Thank you for uploading this, I am really enjoying it.

  • Booooooring ode to pixelation!

  • thats the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) it serves as the power of the aircraft while on the ground..

  • @fugoid89 I drive a bus in NYC express bus i wear gloves. I agree it looks professional.

  • fantastic job done...

  • @anurek123 It's the packs that provides the pneumatic power.

  • @anurek123 That is the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU). It is a small gas turbine that produces hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic power while the aircrafts engines are shut down.

  • @michrousos White gloves represent Proffesionalism

  • what is that constant noise ?? like vaccum cleaner!! the engines are not on right? so what makes this noise does fueling makes this noise? what is it?

  • Nice job ...

  • @michrousos: Because in Japan there is the culture of keeping everything clean is public, in this case, the pilots who use and piloting a plane that is still considered as a means of transportation for people, so public. Their culture for cleaning, and for the "mess something that should not use other people" is manifested in the use of gloves. Even drivers of buses, trams, subway use gloves.
