Why do intelligent people fall victim to unintelligent methods of belief? "He Said So, Therefore It's True." A typical way people get caught up in crap and lies. Conspiracy theories are perpetuated because of this reasoning. People believe hateful idiots like Rush Limbaugh just because he said it. Mass media even uses this gullibility in people by repeating things over and over until people except it as truth. When you are skeptical, you are less likely to become a victim of a lie. Why not just call it what it actually is, "the brain". Why label it "god"? Seems like that would be a useless endeavor since we already have a word for it.
