Kristen Martinez was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at 31. She was an amazing advocate, speaking, walking, running, empowering and touching counless lives. In June 2011, she lost her physical life to the disease, but her spirit lives on forever.
Tigerlily Foundation created the KMWarrior Award. KMWarrior was Kristen's email handle. This award will be presented to one amazing young breast cancer advocate annually, who represents the activism, passion and love that Kristen embodied.
