whats the 'usual' tempo of this piece? I am considering learning it for a guitar exam. This sounds like it is around 220bpm!

Amazing, really good rendition!! One thing I haven't found in the comments
besides being a good player is the fact that this guy is actually a guitar maker.
I tried one of his guitar long time ago. Very clear and powerful instruments with
lot's of similarities with Fleta, like the one he is playing here. I still remember
his Villa Lobos No2 Etude, he make it look so simple!

Javier is very muisical with good understaning of the musical style of Scarlatti. I have discovered from these recrdings that I prefer the guitar to the harpsichord in many of the sonatas.
Un hora buena.

so smooth
I like it

It's not too fast....Listen to some other players, like John Williams....He plays it about the same tempo

I could never imagine that this video would one day reach
the internet :) What a surprise!! This was filmed by my friend
Carlos in Barcelona while delivering the guitar I'm playing here.
...a long time ago. Thanks everybody for the comments ;) I have to
say that I don't play like this anymore, laziness I guess!
p2nches, I'm just curious, where did you find this clip?
Thanks for hosting it anyway.
cheers, javier
