I am thankful that my tribe in Nigeria called the Igbos is 100% Christian and we have no where near the madness and illiteracy that is present in the Islamic dominated north.

So my point is why is Islam a substitiute for the black man ? Do we want to be enslaved by a religion that is responsible for 80% of the brutal world wide violence ongoing in the world today? Islam is the most intolerant religion ever known to man and is packed full of hate, murder and the oppression of women. Why will the black man follow Islam when they see what is going on in Dafur and how Somalian are treated like dirt in Saudi Arabia.

Actually I agree with Khalid on one point. The colonial masters were racist and used religion to further their selfish goals. However this is a brand of Christianity that has nothing to do with Christ. The bible was written mostly by ancient jews and has retained its integrity for thousands of years. So whatever the white Christians practised was not the real Christianity. It was an adulterated form.

It's so funny, my dad did a little legal work with him back in the day. I grew up with some heavy books on black culture he did in my house, and then when I saw "The Mack" for the first time, I was tripping off him sitting there in the club, but I wasn't sure it was him cause I knew him for "righteous" stuff. Then recently somebody told me he was related to the Wards. When you look at the storyline of the Mack, it's almost like he IS the Roger E Mosely character, and the Wards are Goldie (etc)
