Ditto. She truly epitomized class and beauty. What an extraordinary opening scene. Timeless. Groomed by a hollywood studio when studios respected great actors and they in turn respected the studio. I feel she had a sense of who she really was. A gifted actress, a beautiful human being in all ways through her work in Africa despite being very sickly and dying. A women in touch with her soul. The best of a dying breed that Hollywood sadly fails to understand yet produce anymore...

I often think that those who hold this character up as some sort of... "How to be an 'it' girl" miss the part where her husband returns to try to bring her home, or fail to notice that she has very few glamourous outfits, or that her apartment has little, if any, furniture..

I wish that I lived in this era, I am 15 and just wish I was living in those glamourous times, women were so classy and elegant, now we have the likes of Katie Price and Kim Kardashian, fake, plastic, idiots.
This was real beauty.
