Following on from the success of their highly acclaimed album BRANES, as well as numerous releases and global touring, M-Theory finally returns to the studio to bring us their new EP 'Mixed Tweaks' on Alchemy Records.
Collaborating with friends both inside and outside of the studio, 'Mixed Tweaks' offers up three refreshing tracks of varying flavours. An amalgamation of sounds and textures; M-Theory have shaken it up with Pixel, Sonic Species and Rinkadink to create a cocktail of beats and tweaks that have been rinsing the festival dance floors worldwide over the summer.

Track:

1. Receptor -- M-Theory Vs Pixe

Biographies:

M-THEORY
is London based Marcello Baccheschi.

MarcHello started djing as soon as he arrived in town from Italy at the end of the Nineties and quickly became involved in the electronic music scene. Label dj for Etnicanet Records until 2004, he then moved to Neurobiotic and Free-Spirit Records. Meanwhile he was also an active event promoter, co-founder of the legendary Fairy Tales parties in London. His ever-growing passion for digital production gave birth to Cimi in 2003, a crossover project between full-on and progressive trance.

In 2005 MarcHello joined forces with Rob, his partner in the M-Theory project, and together gravitated towards a faster psychedelic sound. Cimi was put on hold until late 2008, while M-Theory were producing their first album "Branes" released in 2009 by Alchemy Records.

MarcHello went solo as M-THEORY from the beginning of 2011. Rob left the project due to family commitments. He was signed as CIMI to upcoming UK label Furthur Progressions in early 2009. These days he keeps producing both progressive and full-on psytrance, and occasionally dedicates his time to mastering tracks and compilations.

M-THEORY 2005-2010: Marcello Baccheschi & Rob Nichols. Meeting on the dancefloor of Sola Luna (Samothraki, 2001) they became good friends and already producing psytrance under their own solo projects, they decided in 2005 to produce music together under their project M-Theory. Signed to Alchemy Records in 2007, M-Theory blasted dancefloors around the globe with their edgy morning sounds, underpinned by phat & funky bass lines.

PIXEL
is Eli Biton Tal, born 1979, living in Tel Aviv, Israel. He started DJ'ing in 1999 and began creating his own music in 2000. In 2001 Pixel started to DJ back to back with Domestic, a successful collaboration which lasted 4 years. During this time, they made music together as Dual Head and compiled a very successful compilation called 'Think Sync'. Pixel released his debut album -- "Reality strikes back" on November 2004 and his tracks have been released on leading labels such as TIP world, Spun and Solstice. He is touring the world extensively and making new tracks for various compilations and for his 2nd album. A new digital ep including collaborations with Astrix and Samuel Wallerstein (ex-Black & White) will be released on April 2011.
