"Santara Šviesa," is a public organization of Lithuanian emigres of Liberal orientation set up originally in the US by Valdas Adamkus, a former President of Lithuania, who also was an active member of the United States Republican Party, working in US administration.
Reprieve UK - organization which work against the death penalty, with a particular focus on legal support for those facing the death penalty. Reprieve UK acts against other violations of human rights. Smith has filed 128 lawsuits on behalf of Guantanamo Bay prisoners and others across the world who say they have been tortured by the United States government. Currently Reprieve represents 33 prisoners at Guantanamo.
