Its Your Destiny | 1x01 - Part One

August 27th. -
Dear Diary;
This is my first diary entry. I guess I like to call it a
journal, so here It goes; My names Miley Ray Cyrus
Well, actually it's Destiny Hope Cyrus, at least that's
what it says on my birth certificate, but I had it legally
changed to Miley Ray Cyrus, Miley came from Smiley
if you were wondering. Anyways, I'm eleven. Another
thing you might have been wondering Is, "Is she Billy
Ray Cyrus daughter." Yes, I am. But I don't go
bragging, in fact, sometimes I don't always find it a
good thing. He's away alot, acting, touring, it gets
tough. Right now, I'm sitting in my room, here at
home. Nothing exiting is going on, oh.. yeah, except
I start 6th grade next week, woo-hoo. Hmm, well I
guess that's all until I write in this again....

I walked downstairs after writing in my journal, Noah
was watching a Disney movie as Brandi braided her
hair, Trace and Braison were outside with the
chickens, and my parents were sitting at the table
with giant smiles on their faces, looking directly at
me. Oh boy. I was afraid to ask, but I did...
"What?"

"Milleey!" My mom said in the happiest, voice ever.

I repeated myself, "What?"

"Guess what we' found out?" My Dad asked me. I
used my eyebrows as question marks. Jeese, just
spit it out already. "Okay, well before you get exited,
there's a decision you have to make that fallows,
okay?" I nodded while by eyes remained widened.
"We heard about a Disney casting call... and It's for
a show called 'Hannah Montana.' Its about a girl
who lives as a small town girl, but secretly she's
a popstar, its singing and acting, but you have to-"

" WHAT? OH MY.. GOSH! ARE YOU SERIOUS?
WE HAVE TO GO! WE HAVEEEE TO GO! PLEAASE?"
I said jumping up and down. This was... this .. was
AMAZING. Singing AND acting?

" Miley... shh, you have to listen, your fathers not
done yet." My mom said, holding my shoulders to
stop me from jumping.

"You have to decided wether you want to miss the
first week of school, and go to this audition, or attend
school, and not go." My dad informed me. I stood
there, looking at my parents in disbeleif. Why did this
have to happen? Everyone knows the first week of
school declares wether you're considered "cool" or...
just normal, or a geek. I defenitly didn't want to be a
geek. But, then again, getting the roll ment I was
instantly cool, didn't it?

" You can take time to think about it bud, you have a
few days." My dad said, hugging me, "But I know this
roll was made for you." He added. I nodded to them
and marched right back to my room.

Brandi fallowed me jumping onto my bed beside me.
"Aren't you exited Miley? You could be on Disney
Channel." Brandi asked. I knew she was happy for
me, but I could tell she was jelous too. I mean, she
was sixteen years old, and had been playing guitar
since she was seven, and she's never been offered
a record deal. Not like this was my chance to get
one either, but If I did get the part, Id be singing for
TV. Which is pretty close to a record deal, and
maybe could even amount to one.

" Yeah, Im exited." I said with hardly any emotion.
Brandi looked at me confused and walked out of my
room. She knew I wanted to be alone. I rolled over
onto my stomach, on my bed and whipped open my
journal. I now had something exiting to write about.

August 27th -
Dear Diary;
Life just got a whole lot harder. Everyone and
anyone who is starting middle school knows you
HAVE to be there for the first week. Thats when you
meet friends, and become someone. But, a Disney
Casting call is also when you become someone.
God, thank-you for this, but please, help me choose
the best one. - Smiley Miley
