  • The wire is 2 ft tall/wid, 19 gauge, but most importantly its 1/2 in. mesh, which will be small enough keep those egg stealing rats and raccoons at bay. also its rust resistance since it will be outdoors, snowed and rained on.

  • I like when girls work, and enjoy. My mom is kinda lazy

  • Thanks for the video, but I believe this 6 part lesson could have probably been reduced to a 2 part if you removed all the redundant 'screwing'.

Maybe next time you could focus on the most important points?

  • I wouldn't worry about the earth worms there are more worms than a handful of chickens could ever eat. If you go walking at dawn after a good rain you will see literally hundreds of worms and countless other trails from other worms.

Also we are talking about chickens here not elephants so thy are not going to compact the ground anytime soon.

If you're worried about the manure just move the chickens more often.

  • Why don't you just use metal brackets? They won't go anywhere!

  • By "endgrain," do you mean the end of the beams at the corners? Is that going to split later on?

  • you are an amazing human being
