At a press conference in the U.S. Capitol, three Washington, D.C., students ask Democrats to continue funding the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program, which gives these students plus 1700 other low-income children a choice of where to attend school. Senators John Ensign, Jim DeMint, Jon Kyl, and Lamar Alexander praised the program for giving low-income children and their parents access to the same kind of educational opportunities enjoyed by members of Congress and their families.

  • My point was that this video would not have convinced me to see things thier way if i didn't already believe what they were saying. I'm tired of Washington telling America what to believe. Why not tell us what's going on so we can make a logical decision on how we feel, Then Americans can logically defend why they are with you, or against you.

Good Video 3 Stars. Rate my videos.

  • The Republicans need to bring forward children because statistics have been presented by Arne Duncan of the Obama cabinet to the President, but Obama is still allied with the teachers union and is still against school choice, open enrollment, and private/parochial vouchers.

  • I agree that whatever we do should be for the children. However, instead of using children to make your point, why not throw some statistical analysis' around. Children don't know what's good for them. Tell me why i should stand behind this legistlation.
