Air drops shot from Devils Gate Dam, many many fixed wing aircraft, helicopter and even the DC-10. There is one thing we do well in California, that is fighting wild land brush fires, thank you fire Fighters & Pilots & air crews. Our family has literally dozens of friends and family among the people evacuated, Fight On!

  • I've got friends who live in the Seven Hills neighborhood. I grew up in Sunland

  • A true testament to the skills these pilots posses. These pilots and the ground crews are the reason why only a dozen or so homes were lost and not hundreds which could have been the case with a fire department who doesnt have the experience these men and women have. Salute to the men and women still working the Station Fire and other Fires across California.

  • I used to live in Tujunga. My neighborhood (Seven hills) is under mandatory evactuation.... sad sad stuff to see.

  • no doubt the ca firefighters are some of the best; just wanted to point out that a lot of these tankers are from out of state - i know neptune aviation in montana and minden air in nevada currently have planes on that fire.
