    serious problem and I will not accept and dumb excuses. All emails that forward to ARE NOT WORKING. I AM SICK OF THE EXCUSES THAT SUPPORT IS PROVIDING.

  • Soon the day will be here when the pompous overpaid CEOs and men like Oliver Mauss will be on their knees begging for mercy from the little people they’ve spent their entire business lives shitting on. All of this rudeness could have been avoided with just a little bit of decent customer support, but that doesn’t seem to be very important to a big horse shit company like 1and1.

  • 1and1 is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Their business billing practices are unethical. Their customer no service people are rude. I will never buy service from them again.

  • I recently buyed a domain with them, but before it can be registered, they''re asking me for documentation such as my passport or a government issued photo id.. is this a normal process.. or is it something i shouldn't trust about ? (newbie webmaster)

  • So after my FTC complaint, 1&1 has accepted fault in the manner. I am very pleased with the outcome, however, it is ridiculous that the government needs to get involved in order for a company to act in the proper fashion.

  • I love 1&1 they are the best Internet host ever .. I have been with them for 6 years and so far no problems ... I have no idea why some customers trying to give them bad press .... There is no prefect hosting company ever .. but at least they doing thier best. I had problems with some invoices, as I was away and could not pay it, and I thought that I have cancelled the contract. And the lady in billing team cancelled the invoices for me.I was so happy for her understanding. so 1&1 rock :)

  • Maybe you should see the reports to the SEC, BBB, and online resources like Scam report. This company quite obviously shady in their billing practices. It took a complaint to the SEC to rectify my issue with 1&1.

    It's funny that this video talks about their relationship with the customer. They do not care about their customer. STAY AWAY from this provider.

  • 1&1 has horrible business practices.

    I canceled my service with 1and1. It is process that appears simple, but they do not allow you to cancel . I received an email saying 'Cancellation of Package as of 07/06/2007". I called 1and1 billing to inquire about the mistake and they informed me that I had not completed their process to cancel the account.I informed that I had. I indicated that I had and had received additional notification that the account was closed.
