Thanks for the compliment, and hey, it was just an idea. But regarding the whole thing, a lot of other people wanted the same thing. I mean, there was a lot of mystery surrounding Sparda and exactly what he did. All we know is he acted both like Dante and Vergil, he rebelled against the demon world and shut it off, and then stayed in the human world to preserve peace. Not too much is exactly explained about him. Did he fight giant things like Phantom? It would be nice to find out.

I was thinking the same thing besides the tittle which btw is nice & very suitable if they were to make it.I wish there was a way we can tell Capcom & Ninja Theory our ideas & thoughts then maybe everyone can be happy & their business can be better.

I like DmC, not saying it's a masterpiece but it's a pretty good game. I wish that Capcom made something else instead of this. I know they couldn't make another prequel or sequel to any of the Devil may Cry games, but they didn't HAVE to have Dante. I would have enjoyed it if they made a game where you played as Sparda when he rebelled against the demon world and sealed Mundus. Just make it Devil May Cry: Legend of the Dark Knight

Oh boy. 100 levels of mediocre slow paced combat with a tiny gaggle of enemies that telegraph their attacks at the speed of the Pony Express. I sure can't wait to not track my opponents with a feature that somehow locks onto your intended target, which as we all know is an unnecessary and archaic game mechanic, not suitable for true and honest art of this caliber.

Maybe they just wanted to make minor perfections, which is totally fine with me, I like having quality in my games, and I love that they didn't just rush it out so it would be on the disc. I still don't see the problem you people are having though, it seems that no matter what they do you're always pissed at them. I played this mode and I loved it, well worth the wait.
