Whales - Birds - Fish - Dying En Masse ?Magnetic Pole Shift?

Birds, fish and other animals depend on the magnetic poles and fields to guide them. If those poles shift or the fields are disrupted in some way is their ability to navigate affected, thus causing some kind of "trauma" to the animals?
