Thank you for a great movie. I wish all movies over say 10 years were allowed on U Tube. Its surely not much threat to movie houses or rental because of all the breaks. By then enough royalties have been earned and it would be to the credit of Universal or whoever to publicise their classics like this - but then I am probably dreaming.

A favorite movie of mine
Jeffrey Wright is awesome as Daniel Holt , a total man without a country ,who only joined the fight out of loyalty to a childhood friend. The developing dynamic between Holt & Jake is interesting,as is the rift between Holt & Clyde
It was Clyde who abandoned them in the cave ,yet seems to have had an attitude when they returned to camp as friends
Holt was based on John Noland,a free black man who was one of Quantrill's scouts.His family was attacked by Jayhawkers
