Hampton Hawes - I'm All Smilles Hampton Hawes-piano Red Mitchell-bass Donald Bailey-drums. Live performance that took place on April 30 and May 1,1966 at Mitchell's Studio Club in Los Angeles. Contemporary Records,1966.
What artistry Hamp had and he loved Donald Bailey as did Jimmy Rowles and most of the great musicians back in L.A. Red Mitchell, great musician. Hamp had such an identifiable sound. You can always tell it is him playing. Thanks for posting this.
