it automatically backs your stuff up
if you want, u can change it and make it a clean install

For me, all my stuff was backed up automatically. I didn't need to back anything up.
As for the icon, I have the same problem. Not sure how to fix it..
Safari, I have never had that many problems...try running Software Update, maybe a new update fixes this?
Overall, I have not had any big problems with Snow Leopard.

That was me! lol. it erased my entire hard drive! & i installed it in the 64 bit version..but there were compatibility issues...

i have had that same thing too for a while with the safari thing and for the icon idk and great video =) i really like the fact that a girl is doing tech reviews it was kinda bothering me that all the people doing the reviews and tips etc were male lol
