Moose cubed steak, moose jerky, moose stew, moose roast, moose stir fry, moose tenderloin kabobs marinated in bourbon and brown sugar, moose burger (grind adding 15% beef fat), bar b que moose, homemade smoked moose sausage, moose rouladen, corned moose hash, moose stew etc.

Moose better than venison, caribou, pronghorn, or elk.

@1973Saved Eat or be eaten, kill or be killed. I understand. That's nature. It is only from my own personal experience that whenever any animal (or person for that matter) dies at the hands of another it has always felt cruel- to me.

But at least a wild animal killed by a hunter dies with less fear than an animal in a slaughterhouse (mostly). That's beyond cruel.

Cruel?? Ever watch what almost all animals do to each other? Talk about cruel! At least good hunters try to kill the animals quickly & humanely. Moose meat--delicious!

The cows are actually the most dangerous. The bulls are generally harmless unless you get between them and a cow that wants to mate. Or if you shoot them, then they get pissed!

Killing any animal is cruel, but moose stew sure is good. Better than a Big Mac or KFC any day.
