You haven't been able to make your own insignia, like Superman's "S", for a very long time. You can make several plain S's, but nothing that looks like Superman's symbol. Same goes for the Bat symbol and most other iconic logos. I personally think it's stupid for comic companies to complain that their fans want to emulate their characters, but whatever. It's still an excellent character creator.

@grantlockwood98 you can create any look you want. actually, you are forbidden to copy Marvel or DC or just about anyone in the real world. I've seen many a "Wolverine" genericed.
With literally billions of possible combinations why would you want to steal another hero's look?
