  • THANKS NEPTUNE,, WE ARE DOING OUR BEST,,

BE SURE TO LOOK OUT FOR SOME CRAZY STUFF FROM US THIS WINTER.

WERE GETTING A 1967 BRANTLY HELICOPTER NEXT WEEK AND ARE GOING TO TRY TO FLY IT.. ALSO WERE PRODUCING SOME CYCLE TECH VIDS FROM MOTOR SERVICE TO CHARGING SYSTEMS,

COME VISIT ANYTIME YOU'RE ON THIS SIDE OF THE POND

  • You bet..#% click** Click,,click-it generation,,

  • people always say new cars & bikes are too complicated.its all computers. But everything is computers & digital now.9yr olds can take their xbox 360 apart and fix it,they can integrate several complicated devices together..but the foundation of our industrial strength is eroding. Our American ingenuity ,self reliance & all for one ,everybodyl together..is gone. But we can bring it back,,you pass it on,,they pass it on & so on &so on.Its not just skills,we need to turn around the type of aittude.

  • thank for the shout out and support.its too bad people cant get past their own little brains...its not about you...its not about"them"..its not about me..its all about

everyone..we are all responsible for what our city,,our country ,our world becomes

If you are not trying or doing something to change things...then you got no right to complain..even just a little change in yourself is enough..motorcycles are my vechicle to the top, and i want everyone along for the ride..

  • @505197 im an ASE OBD2 master tech ,have the latest Snap-on scanner,,your jealous of my van and couldnt drive 3 on the tree anyway.you missed the point & are part of the problem.everything is plug & play, mindlessly do what the computer says,w/out knowing why...new cars and bike ive mastered, thats easy..so go re-set some oil change lights at jiffy lube and let us who dare to put it all on the line,do it.ive done your thing and you can have it. you could'nt keep my pace,,,my wife fixes her own car

  • Yep, can't make any money on 200 vintage bikes laying around. "Uncomfortable", have you ridden anything 30 years older? Oh, and I really need piles of software between me and getting the right fuel mixture to my bike. You can have all the new bikes, I'm glad there's people out there like you to make sure the computer's doing its job. But for me, I'm just glad there's one less person who doesn't give a fuck when a Vincent chugs by him on the highway.

  • Adam!

It's Derek... That video curled my fucking blood, Mann!

    Your shops the shit, Holmes!

What am I gonna do without my "cool factor", "fonze" ironhead now??

Guess I'll have to work for a minibike. At least it'll be kicksart! ;-)

    Catch ya' soon.. Peace!

  • And i am inspired by you from this so do keep it up!

  • I'm 18 and an engineering student living in England and i absolutely love vintage motorcycles. I was originally born and lived in Stevenage where the Vincent was produced for years! If i was in the position where i was offered to be an apprentice building classic motorcycles i would GLADLY accept, scream at the chance, and take it on because its so much to learn! So fear not, it is not all lost there are plenty of youths (if you like) that have the same passion for motorcycles as you do!

  • But there are guys like us. I take my 1950 Plymouth or my CB500 out and kids see it. In my case, I teach a few of them when they start loitering around my shop. This is a float, that's a rectifier, that's a valve. Air, Fuel, Spark and Compression makes the world go around. They can watch and see how a rusty bare frame transforms into something cooler than cookie cutter vehicle. They see the payoff at the end. Maybe that helps some...

  • In my grandfather's time, once a month he'd go outside, slip under the car and change the oil. Today, jiffy lubes abound. If the car needed new points and a condensor, it got it.... today, there's a firestone on the corner. Maybe the digital buffer between man and the machine is partially to blame, but I think the desire for instant gratification plays a far larger role. Patience, attention to detail and quality, are what's lacking.
