If you take anything away from this 100% legit demonstration, it's that despite this mission's status as a gigantic killbox, landing on top of the flak tower is the safest place to start. You're going to have to go everywhere to complete all your objectives eventually - and you're going to have to fight all those guys with MG42s eventually - but landing at the foot of the tower leaves you exposed to snipers, which somehow manage to be more dangerous than the guys with panzerschrecks and squads of Nazis with StGs due to the lack of overhead cover (cf. the presence of giant concrete walls).

If you're inside the tower it's easier to hug the side when you're leaving the ground floor or exit it onto the catwalks from a higher floor so you can deal with the snipers. Failing that, landing on the catwalks from the start (as shown), clearing out the snipers, dealing with the halftracks and working your way up is also a possibility.

Finally, if you do decide to land near the base of the flak tower, on the upper floors of the northwestern bombed-out house is a recoilless rifle. Pre-assembled, no less.
