Yields: 16 servings
Ingredients:
3 tbsp. sugar
1 can crescent rolls
2 tbsp. butter, melted
¾ cup cream cheese spread with strawberry
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Preparation Directions:
~ Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheets.
~ On work surface sprinkle 1 ½ tbsp. sugar. Separate dough into 4 rectangles; press firmly to seal perforations. Brush rectangles with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
~ Starting with shortest sides, roll both ends towards the center, jellyroll style, to meet in the middle. Cut into 8 slices. Place on cookie sheet cut side done and brush with butter.
~ Bake for 10 to 13 minutes or until golden brown, recoil cookies if necessary.
~ Place ½ cookies on plate and top with 1 tbsp. cream cheese and sliced strawberries; top with remaining cookies. Garnish with 1 tsp. cream cheese and strawberry slice.
