@witcheswind the clumps may be caused by your dog 'fertilizing' your lawn when they do their business. It can also be a different variety of grass that is taking over. Contact your local garden center for remedies.

looking to find out how to fix and stop clumping of grass I have strong clumps of grass and it ruins the look and soft flow. Do I remove and compost or can they be broken up and replanted in hard to grow spots? I have a very small lawn and my six small dogs enjoy it as I do.
