I would recommend this guitar....yes. Yamaha builds the best acoustic guitars priced under $250 USD (new). The FG700S is the solid top version ofthe this guitar at $199 and it's the best $200 (new) guitar in the world. If you practice and get better and better, the F325 or FG700S could beome nice travel or campfire guitars someday when you buy a $1000 guitar.
They are available everywhere. Go try them. Have someone else play them at you so you can listen and then play,
This guitar is amazing, I'm getting 1 for Christmas. They sound alot better in person and black Friday they r goin be like real cheap. Thanks for the video:)

I bought the guitar in the video two years ago on Black Friday! I used a 20% off coupon at Guitar Center.
I bought the F325 to leave behind at my parents lake home. It's there for me whenever we go there. It's the official family campfire song guitar now. Enjoy your F325.

Unfortunately I have to sell my Epiphone Masterbilt for some cash, and need a cheap guitar....I think this might work just fine!! Thanks for the fingerpicking demo, that's pretty much my forte, it sounded fantastic on that guitar.

Sorry you have to sell the Masterbuilt. The Yamaha is a nice guitar. The Yamaha FG700S is solid topped...the nicest $199 guitar out there. Have you ever gone to Guitar Center's site and searched used guitars in the used inventory section. Great deals. All 100% returnable.
I found a Seagull Grand parlor guitar (solid cedar top, made in Canada) for my son for $180. You can find some deals and they list the store manager's and phone number. They have a nice search system.

@studio1087 Yeah I've been cruising the site...I think I may go with a Washburn...it's $200 and has a solid Cedar top...haven't seen too many reviews on it though, and it'll have to be an online order...I'll see if i can't look at the Yamaha FG700S as well!

Yamaha rules the under $300 market. There is an 18 minute youtube factory tour of the Yamaha factory featuring Glen Tilbrook (from the 80's band "Squeeze" and the tour is very impressive. I used to own an FG700S that I would take camping and three students of mine have bought them. I've never played a bad FG700S. The 12 string that they make is about $375 USD and it rivals my low-end Martin D12X1.
Yamaha does a great job....consistently.
